Turkey Avocado Club Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 4 slices of smoked turkey breast

  • 1 slice of cooked bacon

  • 1 slice of smoked gouda cheese

  • 2 teaspoons spicy sweet sriracha sauce

  • 1/3 avocado, smashed

Directions

  1. Toast the Bread: Heat a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat. Add the butter and swirl to melt. Place the bread slices into the pan, pressing gently to absorb the butter. Continue to toast until the bread turns a medium golden brown color.

  2. Prepare the Turkey: Heat the turkey slices in the same pan next to the bread for 30 seconds on each side. Once heated, pile the turkey on top of the cheese.

  3. Assemble the Sandwich: Carefully remove the bread from the pan. Add a layer of bacon on top of the turkey. Spread the sriracha sauce on the top slice of bread, then layer on the smashed avocado.

  4. Serve: Slice the sandwich in half and serve.
