Full Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 150 g mushrooms, sliced

  • 400 g ground beef, divided into 4 burger-shaped patties

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee

  • 200 ml heavy cream

  • Fresh parsley

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Chop all ingredients and season the beef with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

  2. In a hot skillet, sauté mushrooms in olive oil until golden brown. Set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, cook the burger patties (add more olive oil if needed). Set aside.

  4. Sauté the onion until translucent, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  5. Pour in the water and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release the browned bits. Reduce by half.

  6. Add the butter, and once melted, pour in the heavy cream. Cook over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  7. Adjust salt and pepper, return the mushrooms to the sauce, and mix well.

  8. Serve the patties with the sauce on top or on the side, and garnish with parsley.
