Full Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 6 oz bacon, diced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced bacon and cook until crispy, about 5–7 minutes. Remove the bacon and drain it on paper towels, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet.

  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat for about 1 minute.

  3. Add the halved Brussels sprouts, cut side down, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 4 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Add minced garlic and stir. Cook for another 5–7 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized.

  5. Return the crispy bacon to the skillet and toss everything together.

  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot, optionally garnished with Parmesan cheese.
