Ingredients

1 lb thinly sliced pork belly

1 onion, sliced

3 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces

3 tbsp soy sauce

½ tbsp dashi powder

2 tbsp honey

½ tsp black pepper

Oil for cooking

Optional: cooked rice or udon noodles, fried egg for serving
Directions

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, dashi powder, honey, and black pepper to make the sauce.

In a large skillet, drizzle in some oil and heat over medium-high. Add sliced onions and sauté for 3–4 minutes until translucent.

Add the pork belly slices and pour in the sauce. Turn heat to high and sauté for 4 minutes until the pork is caramelized.
